100 years of Percy A Hudson Limited
We’re a family run firm that started trading in 1911 when Percy Hudson bought the saw mill. There’s been a sawmill operating on this site in North Shields since 1853. His son, Reginald Hudson, followed him into the timber industry and worked until 2001, into his eighties, alongside his sons Malcom (who joined in 1960) and Douglas (since 1981).
